Andalusia Islamic School Prepares students for New York State Exams

At Andalusia Islamic School we prepare students for New York State Exams throughout the year. Our common curriculum and daily lesson plan train students to score well on NY State Exams. Students also take previous years’ state exams for familiarizing themselves with the exam’s pattern.

As our test results shown below indicate, our elementary and middle school NY State Exam results continue to demonstrate our competitiveness at those critical grade levels. We continue to identify tools and methodologies to further maximize student performance and ensure that our students have full mastery of common core standards. Take a look at our exam results and be proud of the strong indicators that our students meet or exceed all major benchmarks.

However, at the same time, we understand that some students and families strive to do even better on NY State Exams. Thus we have prepared some revision and test-taking tips below. In addition to that, we follow NY Performance Coach workbooks, which are considered as the best resource in the market. Due to the limitation of time, these books are not completed in class during the year. For an additional resource, we are providing their answer keys to families wishing to participate in Intensive NY State Exam Preparation Program.   Please contact your child’s teacher for the password.

This year students will be taking their tests online Insha Allah.
